For the second year, Independence Blue Cross is honoring nurses who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional care to patients and their families through our Celebrate Caring campaign. Now more than ever, we recognize the invaluable role that nurses play in caring for our communities.

Independence recently announced the selection of five winners and nine honorees as part of the 2020 Celebrate Caring campaign. The nurses were chosen from more than 1,000 nominations submitted by co-workers, patients, family, friends, and neighbors. The winners and honorees represent a variety of health care settings across the region.

Winners will receive prizes that include gift cards and food deliveries. Independence will also make a $2,500 donation on their behalf to the charity of their choice.
