These members may experience some challenges in the selection process as both ibx.com and the new ibx4you.com retail platform display the 9-digit PCP numbers used in the Highmark system. By contrast, the member portal, ibxpress.com, displays the 10-digit IBC PCP number. HMO/POS members within a group customer that has not migrated to the new platform must use the 10-digit IBC number. The 9-digit number will not be accepted. We are working to develop a solution where we can accept either number; however, this situation currently requires you and your group customers to complete an interim, additional step to look up the 10-digit IBC number to use for enrollment. What This Means for You In anticipation of customers submitting enrollment data with the 9-digit PCP number from ibx.com, IBC has developed a PCP Look Up tool so that you can look up the 10-digit number required to submit enrollment data. To use the PCP Look Up, you will need to enter the 9-digit number, and it will display the corresponding 10-digit number. The PCP Look Up tool will also accept the 10-digit IBC number as input and display the corresponding 9-digit number. How to Access the PCP Look Up in ROAM

What This Means for Customers Customers who are not yet migrating will need to provide the 10-digit PCP number for employees enrolled in an HMO/POS plan. Those customers should direct their employees to use a new website link where they will find the correct 10-digit number. This link will take the user to the IBC version of our provider search, which displays the IBC 10-digit number. Communications that explain this change to customers are currently being developed. If a member submits the 9-digit number in error, the customer has two options to locate the correct number:
Please note, customers who are migrating can submit the 9-digit number available on ibx.com. For Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) enrollment submissions, a system change is being implemented this weekend that will allow submission of both a 9-digit or 10-digit number. New business customers who submit through EDI will also be able to submit either the 9- or 10-digit number and we will automatically map the correct numbers to the new platform. What This Means for Members Members of group customers should follow the instructions provided by their employer for submitting PCP selection and enrollment data. Members can also call IBC Customer Service to obtain the correct number. For individual plan members, the retail platform – www.ibx4you.com – will direct the member to the correct 9-digit number. If you have any questions, please contact your IBC account executive.
