Custom IBX WireTM mobile messaging is available for large groups
Our market-leading mobile messaging capability, IBX Wire, is becoming one of the most effective ways for Independence to engage your customers' employees — generating nearly three times more responses than direct mail and nearly twice the response of email.*
Members who sign up for IBX Wire receive secure text messages on their smartphone from Independence to help them stay on top of their health and maximize their health plan benefits. Each text links to a HIPAA-compliant webpage, and every message is actionable, providing one-click access to contact a Health Coach, for example.
Custom messaging can help increase employee engagement
We are excited to offer your fully insured and self-funded large group customers the option to purchase custom IBX Wire messaging that complements our Standard messaging – which includes coverage news, personal health reminders, and member-exclusive discounts and promotions.
Two additional levels of custom group messaging are available to help your customers increase engagement and improve their employees' health outcomes:
- Enhanced – Employees will receive messages based on claims data that are specific to their individual needs, such as gaps in care and utilization behaviors (available at no cost for fully-insured customers and customers with Independence Disease Management; buy-up available to self-funded customers).
- Premier – Customers can choose six message topics that are specific to their organization's needs. Examples include reminders to employees to attend a worksite health fair or onsite health screening, and notifications of upcoming open enrollment deadlines. (Buy-up available to fully insured and self-funded customers.)
Customized messaging is available to large group customers beginning with January 1, 2016, effective dates.
