NJSEH certification process reinstated
|
|
AmeriHealth New Jersey is now reinstating the New Jersey Small Employer Health (NJSEH) certification requirements for renewal groups, beginning with groups that are July 2022 renewals. By April 1, 2022, renewal groups will receive this letter about the certification process.

AmeriHealth New Jersey utilizes the following parameters in this process:
|
- AmeriHealth New Jersey will send a notification for submission approximately 90 days prior to renewal.
- Annual recertification submission requirements for all small employer health groups: Groups with less than 6 enrolled contracts will be required to submit an annual recertification. Groups with 6 to 45 enrolled contracts will not be required to submit an annual recertification unless an underwriting audit is required. Groups with more than 45 enrolled contracts will be required to submit an annual recertification.
- The Certification Form must be received by AmeriHealth New Jersey no less than 15 days prior to a group’s renewal date.
- New business cases of all sizes will continue to be required to submit a certification with all required documentation.
