Tokio Marine HCC – Stop Loss Group (TMHCC) is excited to introduce Transplant Nurse Advisers Katrina Reedus and Julie Sullivan.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been two and a half years since TMHCC acquired AIG’s organ transplant and medical stop loss book of business. The addition of the organ transplant product has created an exciting opportunity for growth and development. The producer distribution channel that TMHCC accesses is significant and has allowed for even more growth for the organ transplant product.

Katrina Reedus joined TMHCC in September having previously worked at Indiana University Health System in Cardiac Critical Care, transplants, and most recently, Clinical Informatics Services. In her new role as Transplant Nurse Advisor with TMHCC, she will be working daily with patients as they navigate through the complicated world of organ transplants. Katrina’s time spent as a Clinical Informaticist provided her with an excellent business presence which has proven very helpful with new and enhanced initiatives for our team and the organ transplant product line.

Julie Sullivan previously worked as a Medical Underwriting Nurse for TMHCC in the Northwest Region and was looking for a new challenge. She moved over to the organ transplant team as a Transplant Nurse Adviser in January 2020. Julie has an extensive background in the healthcare industry in the fields of nursing, managed care, third party administration, business and data analytics, and software technology. Julie’s previous experience combined with her role as a Medical Underwriting Nurse at TMHCC has already proven valuable as she brings a different voice to the conversation.
