Johnny Banks - Southeast Region

Johnny comes to us from Zurich Insurance Group. He brings over 30 years of insurance experience including the last nine years working with brokers and administrators placing medical stop loss in the southeast. Johnny is a graduate of Virginia Tech.

In his new position as Vice President of Marketing in the Southeast Region, Johnny will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing producer relationships in Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, as well as parts of Georgia and North Louisiana.

Shannon Bates - Southeast Region

Shannon joins us with 14 years of employee benefits experience in various marketing capacities within the southeast. He spent the majority of his career with CIGNA Healthcare as a Senior Sales Executive and the last few years as a Benefits Consultant with two of Georgia’s largest insurance brokers. Shannon is a graduate of Marshall University.

In his new position as Regional Marketing Representative in the Southeast Region, Shannon will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing producer relationships in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina.

Jill Staebell VerWoert- Northwest Region

Jill comes to us from Aetna (Coventry Healthcare of Iowa) where she spent the last several years as a Senior Account Executive. She worked on self-funded, fully insured and ancillary lines of coverage. Prior to Aetna, Jill worked at The Epoch Group (now Meritain) servicing and selling self-funded products to clients in the midwest.

In her new position as Regional Marketing Representative in the Northwest Region, Jill will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing producer relationships in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Cindy Chelgren - Northwest Region

Cindy comes to us from OptumRx, a UnitedHealth Group company. She brings six years of experience working in the specialty pharmacy world with UnitedHealthcare's (UHC) employer groups. Prior to that, she worked as a product manager for Optum Behavioral Health and UHC’s Medicare & Retirement area. Cindy is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

In her new position as Regional Marketing Representative in the Northwest Region, Cindy will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing producer relationships in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota and Alaska.
