Binder payment extension for consumers
|
|
AmeriHealth New Jersey is extending the binder payment deadline for on- and off‑exchange new business. Those who have submitted new applications for January 1 coverage now have until January 15 to make their first month’s payment to initiate coverage with a January 1, 2021 effective date.

|
This extension is for initial payments only and does not apply to renewing members already in delinquency; terminations due to non‑payment of monthly premium will continue as scheduled.
|
|
Members who have yet to make a payment will receive a letter informing them of the January 15 deadline. We encourage payments to be made online at amerihealthnj.com or with our automated telephonic payment system (1-800-313-9168).
