Independence is pleased to announce the launch of a new self-service customer reporting platform during the first quarter of 2017. The reporting is available to account executives, brokers, consultants, as well as both fully insured and self-funded customers at no additional cost. This new reporting platform is one of many enhancements we’re making to improve our overall customer and member experience.
Powered by IndeX (Independence Explorer), a new, robust business intelligence platform developed by our Informatics/BTS teams, the reporting platform is designed to be more flexible, action-oriented, and intuitive. It features over 30 reports centered on the four key themes that enable users to glean detailed and actionable insights about a group’s health care trends and cost drivers, which are:
• |
Utilization rates and costs for inpatient, outpatient, professional, and pharmacy services
• |
Risk profiles for chronic and notable conditions
• |
High-cost claimants determined by user-set thresholds
• |
Population health as defined by care management and member outreach programs
The new reporting platform also features the following design enhancements to improve the user experience:
• |
Integrated Home Page: View and re-run previous five submissions, download recent completed submissions in two clicks, and see notifications and alerts
• |
Report Center: Intuitive, modern design applied to create reports, minimize time by applying templates to create reports in two clicks, and schedule reports based on submissions
• |
Output Manager: See status of report package requests, re-run completed report packages quickly, search past submissions, and share reports securely with others (this feature is available to Sales/Account Executives only)
In addition to the newly designed reports and interactive online platform, account executives will have exclusive access to a new customer-specific Insights to Actions Discussion Package they can build on demand and share with customers during strategic meetings and utilization review discussions to help them identify focus areas for managing employee engagement and controlling health care costs.
The new reporting platform will replace Blue Insight and BlueINFO and will be accessible to customers and consultants through the employer portal, and to Sales reps and brokers through ROAM.
We will notify brokers via Independence Edge later this month and customers separately about the new reporting enhancements as the platform release date approaches.
