Yardi Employee Spotlight: Getting to Know Linda Knox! "I worked at the site level for 17 years prior to Yardi. Beginning as a leasing agent, I moved my way through the organization and ultimately became the compliance manager. The broad experience is quite valuable to my work with clients here at Yardi," says Linda. A good example of Linda applying her experience is the work she does assisting affordable housing providers to comply with changing HUD requirements. "The HUD 202D conversion was a lot of work for our clients. I enjoyed showing them the best ways to use Yardi Voyager® to make the conversion to 202D a success," says Linda. Linda is also a fan of Yardi's Hour of Power sessions, which are free, online classes taught by Yardi to proactively communicate what's new in the industry and how Voyager addresses those changes. "The Affordable Housing team uses the Hour of Power sessions to provide really helpful information for our clients. I encourage everyone to go online to Yardi Client Central to see the learning tools we offer, particularly the Hour of Power sessions." Away from the office, Linda spends as much time as possible with her sons and 4½ grandchildren. "We love to take family trips with all the kids and grandkids. Our passions are sports, history, horses, and trains, so we plan trips which let us see all of these things in one place. We've been to places like the Kentucky Horse Park, Disneyland, Hawaii, and even spent two summers visiting as many baseball parks as possible from New York to California! When not travelling, I love my house on the south side of Atlanta where we have two acres, three dogs, two cats, and lots of summer pool parties.
