Yardi Takes Part in EXPO REAL for the 12th Year Running

International Property and Investment Exhibition, EXPO REAL, was another great success this year, held between 4th and 6th of October in Munich at the Messe Munchen Exhibition Center. As Europe’s biggest property trade fair, EXPO continues to increase in numbers, this year saw a record count of 1,768 exhibitors and delegate numbers of 39,101 deriving from from 77 countries.

Yardi has exhibited at Expo Real for over 12 years and with a newly designed stand and more industry engagement, we attracted a record amount of visitors.

An Interview with Richard Gerritsen,
Regional Director European Sales at Yardi

During the event, Yardi participated in two panel discussions in collaboration with European property publication Property EU. Richard Gerritsen, Regional Director – European Sales at Yardi spoke in the Data, Technology, Information and Innovation briefing. The discussion looked at ‘How technology will impact real estate, investment & asset management in Europe’.  

The Residential Investment briefing discussed key trends driving the residential sector in Europe which were compared to trends the United States; Wes Fuller, Executive Managing Director, Investment Management, Greystar spoke on this panel on behalf of Yardi. Both panels were covered on Property TV as well as the live news feed from Expo Real 2016.  

The Yardi/iMS seminar took place on the 5th of October. Recently acquired by Yardi Systems, iMS is one of the leading developers of real estate software in Germany. Richard Gerritsen of Yardi and Klaus Gruning of iMS, welcomed guests to discuss what the partnership means for future developments in German real estate technology. 

Yardi Client Dirk Völkel is Interviewed at EXPO
On the last day of the trade show we interviewed Yardi client Dirk Völkel, founder, main shareholder and managing Director of Völkel. During this interview Dirk Völkel describes how his company accommodates all of their client obligations by using Yardi Voyager.
