EventsThe Winner of the Yardi Vastgoedmarkt Young Talent Award is...PROVADA is the biggest real estate exhibition in the Netherlands. Held annually for the last 13 years, the event which comprises of forums, conference halls, and exhibitions, gathers property developers, managers, investors, consultants, and housing corporations.
Over 23,000 property professionals attended PROVADA this year which had 274 exhibitors. PROVADA embraced technology this year with a technology theme The future of Real Estate is all about technology. Showcasing Yardi / FRIS Partnership at PROVADA Since 2014, FRIS investment Care have used Yardi’s Voyager software platform to manage their commercial real estate portfolio. They added Yardi Voyager Residential in 2015 to better control their residential portfolios. This year, during PROVADA Fris Investment Care hosted speed dates at their stand for three different topics. One of three tables was the Yardi Voyager table where people met with our managers and learnt more about the Yardi Voyager solution and the advantages and lessons learned by Fris Investment Care. Yardi Vastgoedmarkt Young Talent Award Each year, Yardi and Vastgoedmarkt collaborate to deliver the Yardi/ Vastgoedmarkt Young Talent Award. The annual award scheme was first introduced to the industry in 2008 and has since taken its place as a credible award within the Dutch real estate market. The Yardi/ Vastgoedmark Young Talent award is designed to stimulate the development of young professionals in the Dutch real estate market. Award nominees undergo a series of communication projects in the months leading up to the award. These include competitive blogging and participation in online debates which add weight to their chances of winning. Alongside a trophy and industry recognition, winners are awarded €5,000 to redeem from select ASRE (School of Real Estate) education programmes. 2017 nominees were shortlisted at the Vastgoedmarkt Trends Congress on the 20th of April following a series of five flash-debates. The following three final candidates were announced by Cuno van Steenhoven, former Chairman of DTZ Zadelhoff as the finalists.
The Jury of the award consists of: Cuno van Steenhoven, former chairman DTZ Zadelhoff, Richard Gerritsen (Regional Director Yardi Systems), Jessie Wagenaar (winnaar 2016) and Erik Wiegerinck (Senior Editor Vastgoedmarkt). The winner was Frank Verwoerd – Head Research Dynamis.
